The same rule was applied in IPL 2014 and yesterday, April 2, 2015, TNCA secretary general Kashi Viswanathan confirmed that Sri Lankan cricketers won’t be able to play in Chennai this time also.
The players and teams that will be affected by this diktat are Delhi Daredevils’ Angelo Mathews, Kings XI Punjab’s Thisara Perera, and Mumbai Indians’ Lasith Malinga.
